We offer a range of services from traditional to modern, for all ages. Visitors and their children are always most welcome. For youngsters there is a play area with toys and books. Normally, the monthly pattern of services is as follows.

Sunday Time Service
1st Sunday 11:00am Holy Communion, normally a spoken Service, using the Book of Common Prayer, without music.
2nd Sunday 6pm Evening service. Refreshments served after the service.
3rd Sunday 9:30am Holy Communion, Common Worship, Service with hymns.
Refreshments served after this Service.
4th Sunday 9:30am Sunday Praise, Family Service or Children's Service.
5th Sunday 10:30am When applicable: Joint Benefice Service, a Communion Service in ONE of the 6 Churches in the Benefice: Buckland-tout-Saints, Chivelstone, East Portlemouth, Slapton, South Pool or West Charleton.

We normally use New Revised Standard Version readings and psalms.

Special Services

September Harvest Service, a lively service with music, followed by a meal and auction of produce, to which everyone is welcome.
October Animal Thanksgiving Service, usually held during half-term.
November Remembrance Sunday, incuding an Act of Remembrance, to which all are welcome.
December Carol Service, traditional readings and carols, suitable for all the family, followed by mulled wine and mince pies in the Church.
Christmas Day A Family Service or Holy Communion.
Mothering Sunday A service of celebration with flowers.
Palm Sunday A donkey procession often begins this service.
Easter Day Family Communion Service to celebrate the Risen Christ

Occasional special services are held to reflect the needs and interests of the local community.
